I’m a creative by nature and have spent the better part of my life studying fine art. What this translates to is a deep-rooted belief in the importance and permanence of what we’re creating for your family. Through a combination of technical skill, artistic knowledge, and collaboration with you, I can guarantee a stunning gallery you’re sure to love!

I've been honing my craft for over a decade, with many of my new clients coming by way of referral. This is because the level of service we provide here at Megan Blasdel Photography allows me to build lasting relationships with the families I photograph. This personal connection enables me to help clients feel comfortable in front of the camera and confident in their choice to invest in themselves and their heirloom portraiture. Meet AJ!

AJ’s cheerful voice is the first one you’ll hear when you contact the studio. Going on three years with the MBP Family, they will help get your session scheduled and will be a communication touchstone throughout your entire portrait experience. A creative person, AJ is also the sole proprietor of AJ Price Design, which includes work in painting, graphic design, pottery, and art coaching. In addition to visual art, AJ is also a writer and public speaker. One ongoing interest is in social justice and expanding the use of inclusive language. Their other hobbies include travel and learning about the wonders of our natural world, both far and near.

Megan Blasdel Photography is a licensed and insured business operating in the State of Texas. Megan is degreed through Galveston College (special emphasis on applied art and design), with upper level art studies at University of Houston Clear Lake. Combined with a team of other incredibly skilled creatives, our studio takes the utmost care in producing your professional portraits.

Giving Back

I like to think of myself as many things: a photographer, business woman, mom to two little ones, and wife to a seriously awesome guy. I’m also a book lover, dog foster mom, and travel enthusiast. But one thing I really enjoy is getting involved in my local community. I’m a huge believer in “being the good you wish to see in the world” and try to live by that both personally and professionally.
