As many of you know, my son was diagnosed with several congenital heart defects soon after birth. In fact, when he was only one-and-a-half weeks old, we learned that the situation was urgent. So, before we could even celebrate his first month in the world and two days before Thanksgiving, he underwent heart surgery to correct the most severe problems. By God’s grace and the surgeon’s skill, he is doing great five years later. However, we will be monitoring his heart health for the rest of his life.
For us, November and Thanksgiving will always hold a special meaning for us. But February is the month of love and it’s actually Heart Month, too! In keeping with our charitable endeavors, we decided to shine some light on an organization who understands and supports families throughout the diagnosis and treatment of heart-related illnesses. On February 6th, we’re offering a kid-focused petite session (up to three littles per session, aged ten or younger OR one adult and 2 littles). This rare, all-inclusive event features 5 printable digital images delivered via email and 10% off print orders placed via the online gallery. $25 from every session will go directly to the Mended Little Hearts organization.
