Hudson’s one, so let the fun begin! Hitting the twelve-month mark, this kiddo is confident to walk, ride, and smile really wide. Of course, nobody’s happy every minute… which we later caught on camera as we started the main event “cake smash” portion of the session.
The opening images with the cake look straight from a funny “you’re ANOTHER year older?!” greeting card. But with a little convincing, Hudson set a great example that getting older is a good thing and should be celebrated!
The full-length session gives us time for the full-body exploration of cake, but it also offers some more dignified, less-messy poses. Here are a couple of our favorites. In one, a seated Hudson looks very contemplative. Maybe he’s thinking of starting a band someday and calling it “Counting Toes.” He definitely has cute ones, so we got a close-up of all ten of them. Make sure to get images like these during your session, as they’re the little details you’ll wistfully remember when kids get older and leave big stinky shoes all over the house!
