Veni, Vidi, Venci: I came, I saw, I conquered. That’s school in a nutshell, right? Show up, learn stuff, graduate, and begin the next adventure. In this senior session with David, we were able to capture a lot of moods and styles, from bopping around the artfully-gritty parts of Galveston to a brief fine art session in my Santa Fe studio.
While the train yard and downtown gave us some rich, saturated red, orange, and rust, we kept the fine art session super-neutral. Emphasizing black-on-black layered dress clothes, using the black and silver weights, and converting some of our outdoor shots to black-and-white created a cohesive gallery.
