How do you make a cake? Well, someone has to grow the grain so we can add flour. Someone has to feed the chickens so we can crack an egg into the batter. And, someone has to milk the cows so that we can lick buttercream frosting off the spatula. And, someone has to have a birthday so that there’s a good reason to bake in the first place! Weston’s one-year cake-smash session celebrates farm-to-table realness.
Everything about this session was as cute as it could be, and so consistent. Hay bales, red gingham tablecloth, barn cake with corrugated-siding texture, REAL hens, cow prints… and the O, N, E printed in farm-animal font on the seat of his pants means a whole first year is now “behind” him!
