Since I’ve been this family’s go-to photographer for two older siblings’ senior portraits, I was excited to “collect them all” and enjoy a unique Galveston session with Devin!
From gritty graffiti to understated downtown black-and-white, we got an incredible range. Devin’s yellow tee with a bright red Razorback-on-a-chain played great with the bright colors at the train yard, but a long-sleeved plaid layer quickly muted the look to add further variety to the shoot.
So, how do you keep a sentimental mom from crying when you reach a major milestone like high school graduation? Well, you can’t (lol), but you can make her laugh. What better way to say, “I’ll always be your baby?” than to re-create some pictures from yesteryear? This is why it’s nice to have actual prints, too: posing with the old framed portraits presents K-12 all in one fun and memorable shot!
