Can't Take the Country Outta the Boys

I’ve had the pleasure of watching Hunter grow up in my peripheral- I’ve known his whole family since I was old enough to wander across the street and practically live there. Since then I’ve kept in close contact with his relatives, but especially his Mama, who has been my hair stylist at Blazin’ Tangles in Santa Fe for the last 13 years. So when it was Hunter’s turn for Senior Portraits, I knew exactly what kind of look we were going for! His senior session was classic Texas to the max: hunting, old trucks, fishin’ pond, and football. With a portrait session like this, we’ll never forget where he came from. Lucky, too, that Danbury’s black-and-white jerseys mesh so well with the Lone Star State flag mural. My full hour is great because it allows so much variety in wardrobe and setting - Hunter’s session was about half woodsy-rural and half sporty vibe, but even within those categories, we got sooo many great images!

Another one of my awesome 2021 Senior Guys is Tanner- who is one of our own local Santa Fe graduates. Tanner’s mom coordinated borrowing a neighbor’s picturesque rural property for its gorgeous oak trees and buildings that exude farm-charm. But Tanner’s main passion is welding and working on vehicles, so we made sure to get some cool shots of him with his equipment and some with his own truck. Best luck to Tanner, Hunter, and all our 2021 grads!
