All that’s missing for this picnic is the food! We had the park, soft grass, flowers, sunshine, a blanket, and a red-white-and-blue-bedecked family. A full session allowed for many cute groupings, and it was hard to pick just a few highlights.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing the growth of kids and families when my past clients reach out again. I met Brooke when we did Willow’s first-year milestone portraits several years ago. Look how poised and independent she has become since then!
When Willow’s little brother Jace turned a couple of months old, it was time to bring him out and welcome him into the family with official photographs. Everyone wanted a cuddle, and that made for some really cute poses.

After a full hour drew to a close, Jace was getting sleepy, but Willow was still “on,” giving us a goodbye curtsey. Thanks to all of you for this heartwarming session!
