New Englanders Rebecca and her husband Eric recently celebrated their second anniversary with a late-May trip to our own Galveston Island. Rebecca actually reached out to us way back in January (love this!). They got the ball rolling with our complimentary Zoom consultation, and quickly locked in their session. But, even after all of that lead time, planning, and anticipation, when the big day came, Texas weather did what it does best and the rain clouds rolled in. Fortunately, they’d already had sunset portraits in New Hampshire, so they were up for something different. We texted back and forth for 24 hours, checking the forecast closely, and (God bless Texas), found a break in the weather and were able to do what we set out to do!
They loved downtown Galveston, and its richly-colored and textured alleyways provided a nice shelter from the windy weather. I think it’s always warm wherever these two are, though — a couple years past “I do,” they still have all the heat of newlyweds. What a pleasure to be in the presence of true love, and to capture those precious memories!
